Connect your camera
Up and running in 5 minutes. No hardware, no technical knowledge required.

Create account & sign in
Register at guardian.camera and sign in to your dashboard.

Add your camera in the dashboard
Go to the "Cameras" tab in your dashboard and click "+ Add Camera". Give it a name (e.g. "Front Door") and optionally a location.
You will automatically receive your personal alert email address, e.g.:
alerts+YOUR_USER_ID@guardian.camera

Set up Reolink email notifications
Open the Reolink App → Select your camera → Settings → Notifications → Email.
* Not your regular Gmail password! Create an App Password at: myaccount.google.com → Security → App Passwords

Trigger a test alert
Walk in front of the camera or use the "Send Test" button in the Reolink App. After 1–2 minutes the alert should appear in your dashboard.
✅ If you receive an email from alerts@guardian.camera — everything is working!
📷 Setting up multiple cameras
Each camera gets its own alert email address. Here's how:
1Dashboard → "Cameras" tab → "+ Add Camera"
2Give it a name (e.g. "Garage", "Garden", "Back Door")
3Copy the new alert email address
4Enter it as the recipient in the Reolink App for your second camera
5Done — alerts appear in the dashboard with the camera label
Depending on your plan you can connect 1–5 cameras. All alerts appear in a shared timeline.
